14-day right of withdrawal
As a consumer you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason (Icelandic Consumer Contracts Act no. 16/2016).
How to return
- Email info@arctic-market.com within 14 days with your order number and the item(s) you want to return. You may use the model withdrawal form below or your own words.
- Send the item back within 14 days of your notice, unused and in its original condition. We will send you the return address.
- The buyer pays the return shipping unless the item is defective or wrong.
Refund
We refund all payments, including the original standard shipping cost, no later than 14 days after receiving your notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back. Refunds use the original payment method.
Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- goods made to the buyer's specifications or clearly personalised, e.g. items with your logo, vessel name or own design (Art. 18, Act no. 16/2016),
- sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed,
- business purchases.
Standard print-on-demand shop items (not personalised) are covered by the right of withdrawal.
Defective items
If an item is defective or wrong, contact us as soon as possible with a photo and we will make it right at no cost. The complaint period for defects is two years (Act no. 48/2003).
